P.O.T.S. Multidisciplinary Clinic. 

 

Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (P.O.T.S.) multidisciplinary clinic. The P.O.T.S. clinic provides critical support to Lurie Children’s patients and families diagnosed with P.O.T.S. including social work, psychology, and nutrition support.

 

 

 

 

 

Batson's Children's Hospital of Jackson, Mississippi 

 

P.O.T.S. Advocacy and Innovation ClinicTM  Fall 2020 

 

The Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital has taken a stand to P.O.T.S. with help of head Cardiologist Dr.William M. Moskowitz. Our foundation is working hand in hand to provide a clinic for P.O.T.S. patients in the state of Mississippi and southern states of the USA. The clinic will have two separate launches 

 

Launch One  in hopes by Fall 2020 

The multidisciplinary clinic will be funded for use of check-ups, annuals and on call for P.O.T.S. patients. Funding will go towards Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors (ABPM), 

Educational pamphlets, Presentations around the state of Mississippi, an RN Coordinator, on staff Psychologist to help make P.O.T.S. patients most comfortable and relieve of symptoms or flare-ups. 

 

Launch Two in hopes by Winter 2022 

Once we identified clinical trials and/or specific research projects will be budgeted and put into place by a research lab at the clinic which will innovate and expand new clinical trials and footprints for P.O.T.S. patients.
